A family villa, opened to a few guests at a time.
Built in 2017 by a family who fell for Uluwatu twenty years earlier. Run today by the same hands.
Our story
Built slow, for the long stay.
We bought the land in 2014, a quiet plot above Bingin where the surfers walk down the cliff before sunrise. The villa took three years to build because we did it the local way, hand-stacked stone and reclaimed teak.
We opened to guests in late 2018. Since then we've hosted 138 stays. Many guests come back. Some send their friends. We stayed small on purpose, three suites, one pool, one team, so we can host the way we'd want to be hosted.
The villa is owner-run, not branded. You won't find us on a billboard. The people who clean your room, cook your breakfast and drive you to dinner are the same five people, week after week, most have been with us since opening night.
